Traditional cheesemakers since 1780 From humble beginnings as farmhouse cheese makers, the Tuxford & Tebbutt creamery was formed in 1780 in Melton Mowbray. Today, whilst the creamery has certainly kept pace with the times to satisfy demand, Tuxford & Tebbutt still makes its award-winning cheeses from the same building in the same time honoured way.
